Elladell's adventure helped to create and develop W.A.R. Through her we realized we needed a ladies riding group where gals felt safe, regardless of her level or experience.
Fireball, her names says it all. She helped by sharing different viewpoints. She played our devil's advocate and we appreciated her for her openness.
When the gals got together in 2017 and discussed forming a female riding group, she had no idea the new road she would be traveling. She took on the challenge to lead the group, knowing she had everyone's support.
Sandy's late in life, newly found passion for riding has opened a whole new world. Where once she was shy, reserved, and kept to herself, she now takes trips, whether they are group rides or solo adventures, where she gets to experience the wonderful world of riding by seeing new places, riding many back roads and meeting people who share the same passion.
Sue is deeply passionate when it comes to life and family. When she meets a new lady rider, she shares their enthusiasm and invites them to share their adventure with other like-minded women riders. Sue volunteered to spearhead the group by keeping us focused; facilitating to help us define ourselves and how we wanted to be known within the community.
When we first started, Switchback was known as Tracy. Her eye for beauty and artistic genius help to create the design of our colors and logo. Her passion for riding has taken her on new journeys, her latest "Coast to Coast".
