Welcome to Warrior Angel Riders (W.A.R.), a women-only riding community that welcomes and supports women riders of all experience levels, ages, and motorcycle styles.
W.A.R. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Tacoma, Washington, dedicated to empowering women through motorcycling. We foster community, confidence, and sisterhood by providing riding opportunities, educational programs, charitable activities, and support for IRS-qualified nonprofit organizations through fundraising and community outreach initiatives.
What brings us together is both simple and powerful: a shared love of the open road and the meaningful connections we build when we ride side by side. The freedom that comes with rolling on the throttle is unforgettable, but it is the friendships, encouragement, and sisterhood we create along the way that truly define who we are.
Whether you're a new rider, a seasoned motorcyclist, or somewhere in between, you'll find a welcoming community of women who share your passion for riding and supporting one another.
To learn more about who we are, what we do, and the adventures we've shared, explore this website and connect with us on Facebook and Instagram .
W.A.R. meetings are held monthly at the Black Bear Diner in Lakewood during January, February, March, May, June, August, September, and November.
Join us beginning at 6:30 PM for socializing, catching up with fellow women riders, and enjoying some camaraderie before the meeting. The meeting begins between 6:45 PM and 7:00 PM.
Please note that in-person meetings are not held in April, July, October, or December. Instead, we gather through Zoom meetings and holiday activities throughout those months.

Celebrating Survivors, Raising Awareness, and Riding for a Cause.
Every year is a gift for a cancer survivor. The Wigged Out Ride is a celebration of that gift, another year to live, laugh, love, and enjoy the freedom of the open road.
This special event brings together riders, family, and friends to honor survivors, remember loved ones we've lost, and stand alongside those who are still fighting. It is a day filled with support, remembrance, hope, and community.
Expect pink wigs, creatively decorated motorcycles, and plenty of heart as we ride together to raise awareness and support a cause that touches so many lives. More than just a ride, Wigged Out is a chance to make a difference right here in the community we call home.
Since 2015, riders have gathered year after year to share stories, celebrate victories, and support one another. We invite you to join us this year and be part of a tradition that continues to inspire, uplift, and bring people together.
Wear a wig, decorate your bike, and ride with purpose. Together, we can turn miles into hope.

A warrior is not defined by the battles she faces, but by the strength she discovers within herself to keep moving forward.
As women, we all fight our own battles. We face challenges, overcome obstacles, support one another through difficult times, and find the courage to keep going when the road gets tough.
A warrior endures. She rises after setbacks, finds strength in sisterhood, and embraces life with determination, resilience, and heart. Together, we remind each other that no one rides alone and that even the hardest journeys are easier when we travel them side by side.
An angel is a woman whose kindness leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets.
She looks after her family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers with a caring heart and a helping hand. Her presence brings comfort, encouragement, and light, often making someone's day brighter simply by being there.
She leads with compassion, offers support without expecting anything in return, and quietly lifts others when they need it most. An angel protects, guides, inspires, and gives of herself freely. Her strength is found in her kindness, and her greatest gift is the difference she makes in the lives of others.
A rider is a woman who embraces freedom, confidence, and adventure on her own terms.
There is something uniquely empowering about throwing a leg over your own motorcycle, firing up the engine, and heading down the open road. Every mile brings a sense of independence, accomplishment, and discovery.
Riders challenge themselves, build their skills, and find strength in experiences that take them beyond their comfort zones. Whether traveling across the state or simply taking the long way home, they understand that the journey is about more than the destination.
Warrior Angel Riders was founded to create a welcoming community where women riders can connect, build friendships, and share their love of motorcycling.
We welcome women of all ages, experience levels, and motorcycle styles. Whether you're a new rider or have years of miles behind you, you'll find support, encouragement, and sisterhood both on and off the road.
We're more than a riding group. We're a community of women who ride together, grow together, and celebrate the freedom of the open road.
At Warrior Angel Riders, we strive to be our B.E.S.T. in every aspect of life:
Beauty
Embracing the unique qualities that make each of us shine.
Empowerment
Encouraging women to grow, achieve, and ride with confidence.
Strength
