Beverly enlisted in the United States Army during a time of war (1969) because she had just lost a cousin who was shot down over Vietnam and comes from a military family. This speaks volumes about her courage and commitment.
Being stationed at Fort Jackson and serving in Charlie Company, 3rd Brigade, 11th Battalion, within the historic 3rd Army (Patton’s Army), ties her directly to a proud and storied military tradition. She retired (medically) in 1972.
Beverly’s story reflects a deep legacy of service and sacrifice, not only from her personally but also from her entire family. She has two uncles who are career United States Air Force, a brother who is career United States Navy, and six cousins (four male, two Female) who served in the military for a limited duration.
Cecilia enlisted in the United States Army right out of high school, leaving her hometown in Wisconsin for the first time. Her military journey began at Camp Casey, Korea, and took her to numerous assignments across the United States. She was later stationed in Mannheim, Germany, where she met her husband. Together, they deployed to Kuwait for her first tour. Cecilia went on to serve two additional deployments to Iraq—one lasting a year, the other 15 months. She retired from the Army in 2011 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), and she and her family chose to make Washington their permanent home.
Dolly proudly served in the United States Army, completing active duty from 1980 to 1983 and continuing her commitment in the Army Reserve from 1986 to 1992.
Drake is proudly serving in the United States Air Force as an active duty service member. Over the past 12 years, she has been stationed at six different bases around the world. Now back in California with her family after an overseas assignment, Drake is excited to return to one of her great passions—riding
Hollie joined the United States Army when she was 19. She studied Nutrition as a 91Mike. Hollie was stationed at Ft. Jackson, Ft. Lee, Ft. Sam Houston and finally landed at Ft. Lewis in 1999. "I was a baby doing grown up things, but it taught me perseverance and dedication. HOOAH!"
Jessica served in the United States Army Reserves 2011-2017.
